Data Entry Specialist: Shatha Abu Aballi

Shatha Abu Alli is an early-career data management professional with a background in communications and cultural heritage. She currently serves as a data entry specialist on the National Cultural Heritage Property Database of the Kingdom of Jordan, where she is responsible for the accurate entry, organization, and maintenance of data.

Previously, Shatha worked as communications manager at ACOR until February 2025. In that role, she led communications across multiple projects, managed digital platforms, and developed content to support the organization’s outreach and visibility.

She had begun her professional journey with ACOR in 2016 with the USAID-funded Sustainable Cultural Heritage Through Engagement of Local Communities Project, contributing to Arabic-language content and supporting a variety of communication initiatives before advancing to project communications manager.

Shatha holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from The Hashemite University. Her undergraduate studies focused on archaeological and conservation sciences, and her graduate research on damage assessment of Umm al-Jimal.

Her current work reflects a strong focus on data accuracy, documentation standards, and the preservation of cultural heritage information.
