Hours and Overview

The ACOR Amman office and ACOR Library operate 8:00AM – 4:00PM (Ramadan hours are 9:00AM – 3:00PM), Saturday through Thursday. The facilities are closed on Fridays. Amman is in the Eastern European Time Zone and observes the change to Eastern European Summer Time. So it is +3 GMT and +8 EST in summer, usually late March to late October, and +2 GMT/+7 EST for the rest of the year. For the current time, visit Time and Date.

The ACOR office staff supports the administrative needs of the center and provides advice, direction, and general guidance. We do recommend that visitors to Jordan conduct their own research before arriving; should you have any questions about informational resources, please contact ACOR or the ACOR Library for assistance. For those interested in attending public events at ACOR, we recommend you sign up for our Events in Amman e-newsletter.

For recommendations on how to get to the Center, please refer to the following map. Please be advised that construction on University Road for the Rapid Transit project may cause delays in your usual route; we recommend that those traveling to ACOR by car allow for extra time to get here.
