Yara Alkhatib is an architect and researcher with a focus on architectural documentation and digital heritage. She holds a master’s degree in historical building rehabilitation from the University of Bologna. After graduation, she worked as a research fellow at the University of Bologna, specializing in 3D reconstruction using photogrammetry, digital modeling tools, and virtual reality applications for heritage documentation. In July 2025, Yara joined the American Center of Research as a 3D imaging and photogrammetry specialist to contribute to the documentation and visualization of cultural sites, artifacts, and museum collections as part of the collaboration between ACOR and Global Digital Heritage (GDH).
