History

History has been Ahmed Alqaise’s first passion since his early school years. He has found in it a mirror to the past, a tool to understand the present, and a way to foresee the future. As one of his professors once said, “Understanding history teaches us the past so we can understand the present and predict the future.” He decided to pursue his graduate studies in this field and enrolled in Yarmouk University’s master’s program in history out of a deep love for knowledge and a sincere desire for research and analysis. This academic experience has granted him valuable expertise and enabled him to participate in international activities, such as his volunteer experience in Romania. Studying history was not just an academic phase, but rather a rich journey that deepened his understanding of social and political transformations and enhanced his research and critical thinking skills. Following this step, he aims to pursue a PhD. Receiving the Frederick-Wenger Jordanian Educational Fellowship is a step he is proud of and considers a great support for his academic and professional journey, through which he aspires to serve his community and shed light on marginalized aspects of history with a contemporary analytical perspective.
