Fadi Kafeety is a doctoral candidate in history at the University of Houston researching anti-colonial movements in the Arab world. Fadi earned his MA in Middle Eastern studies at the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY), and his BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at New York University. Prior to joining the American Center of Research as a predoctoral fellow, Mr. Kafeety served as the inaugural assistant director of the Arab-American Educational Foundation Center for Arab Studies at the University of Houston from 2020 to 2024.
