The Near and Middle East Research and Training Program (NMERTP) was a research grant offered at ACOR between 1994 and 2000. This prestigious fellowship supported research and publication of U.S. citizens in the social sciences, the humanities, and associated disciplines related to the Middle East. Preference was given to scholars with limited prior experience in the Middle East.
