With support from the USAID-funded Sustainable Cultural Heritage Through Engagement of Local Communities Project (SCHEP), the American Center is proud to announce the launch of the Arabic version of the Jordan Cultural Heritage Portal (JorCHP).
If you are a student, an academic, an employee, or anyone else interested in Jordan’s cultural heritage and tourism, you will find the Jordan Cultural Heritage Portal to be an effective and useful resource. Through its many features, the portal provides an easy and powerful search function that allows you find and browse the information and resources you are seeking. JorCHP was created to promote the sharing of knowledge and reports on cultural heritage projects throughout Jordan, in addition to employment and internship opportunities and scholarship and fellowship announcements. This includes important documents, manuals, publications, and other content related to Jordan’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the Department of Antiquities for supporting us in making JorCHP a comprehensive hub for knowledge and information about cultural heritage resources in Jordan.
Stay tuned for the English version—and more improvements and features—in the upcoming months.
