Ruaa Alathamneah holds a bachelor’s degree in archaeology from the University of Jordan and is currently an MA student in the same field. Her research focuses on lithic technology, particularly lithic cores and core-trimming elements from the Neolithic site of Tell Abu Suwwan in northern Jordan. Her work aims to understand how stone tools were produced and how technological strategies changed over time to better interpret human behavior during the Neolithic period. Ruaa has participated in several archaeological excavations with the University of Jordan and the Department of Antiquities of Jordan, working on Neolithic sites in roles including student supervisor, technician, researcher, and trainee. She is currently volunteering in the Lithic Laboratory at the University of Jordan, where she is involved in lithic analysis and research. She is interested in prehistoric technology and aims to continue her academic and research career in this field.
