Welcome to ACOR!
The American Center of Research (ACOR) is an international, non-profit academic institution, which advances understanding of Jordan and the region, past and present. We promote and support research across a broad swath of the social, natural and physical sciences, humanities, and the arts. To do so we offer a comprehensive fellowship program for scholars and students, conduct archaeological excavation and restoration projects, publish, maintain a robust public library, facilitate the work of others, provide residential facilities to scholars and students, and host a variety of interdisciplinary initiatives.

Effective May 15th, the library is open without appointments required!
Please email library@acorjordan.org for more information. All users must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a mask.
