Amal Al Faouri joined The American Center of Research in November 2021 as a communications specialist. She holds a BA with honors in mass communication (television and radio) from Al-Yarmouk University and came to The American Center with several years of experience, including as public relations and communications officer at the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC).
Oriented toward communication strategy and creative campaigns creation, in addition to publicity, Amal has in-depth expertise in social media and website management and high-quality written and visual productions. This has allowed her to develop a successful record of leading media and public campaigns, including HCAC Change Day, the HCAC Media Competition, and USAID’s “Family Planning Innovations Day Amidst COVID-19” Activity. She has also created a body of independent films that have been nominated for and received awards. Amal was honored at the seventh Women’s Film Week as one of the best young directors whose films address feminist issues , and she won first place in a Jordanian Writers Union short-story competition.
Amal holds firm beliefs in freedom, equality, and social justice for everyone and that each person has a story that deserves to be told.
