“Arabic for Archaeologists” is a handy pocket-sized booklet suitable for work in the field and easy to use.  It was prepared by Robert Schick as a revised version of Paul Lapp’s “Arabic for the Beginner in Archaeology” which was first published in 1963 and revised by Nancy Lapp in 1971 and 1990.  Nancy Lapp gave ACOR the rights to this publication in 2006 and authorized Robert Schick to revise it.  Proceeds support the ACOR library.  ACOR hopes that the next generation of students will enjoy using it as has been the case for many in the past.
